This laid the groundwork that ultimately motivated us to launch a joint project.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“Hans Theessink \u0026amp; Terry Evans – Analog Session Vienna” was recorded on September 7th, 2017, in Vienna and produced by a technical and recording team led by Christoph Stickel and Dietz Tinhof.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe setup included microphones from beyerdynamic, a Studer 961 mixing console, and two Studer A80 tape machines—the technical foundation of this extraordinary recording.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChristoph Stickel refined the master tape from the Studer A80 with his purely analog mastering to a level that still gives me goosebumps when I listen to it today.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe approximately 60 people in the audience at Supersense in Vienna were absolutely thrilled, and I’m sure they cherish the memory of that special evening just as much as I do. What I didn’t know at the time was that it would be my last meeting with Terry Evans. He passed away in January 2018.
